Rowing

In partnership with Rowing Australia, Rowing NSW and the NSW Performance Pathways clubs – the NSWIS Rowing Program supports NSW rowers in achieving outstanding performances on the world stage.

WORLD’S BEST

The NSWIS Rowing Program, led by experienced coaches and supported by world class facilities, has produced outstanding athletes who have excelled nationally and internationally. Notable athletes include Spencer Turrin, Jack Hargreaves, and Joshua Hicks, along with Alex Lloyd, who achieved gold in the men’s four at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and were world champions in 2017 and 2018 for the same event, along with Victoria Roberts, a three time World Rowing Championships winner. The program continues to nurture talent and contribute to Australian rowing success.
