Spratt claims national title

NSWIS cyclist Amanda Spratt claimed her second national women’s road title over the weekend at the Australian Road National Championships in Victoria.

Spratt, who won the event in 2012, made her move with 25km left of the 102km race, reeling in the leaders before surging ahead with only 300m to go to claim the championship.

Fellow NSWIS athlete Rachel Neylan finished third after a sprint to the line.
