Sharks aiming for silverware

The Australian men’s water polo team for the FINA World League tour has been announced, with eight NSWIS athletes making the cut.

Headlining the NSWIS selections on the Sharks team are four Olympians, including Richie Campbell, James Clark, Johnno Cotterill and Aidan Roach. Campbell, a two-time Olympian, will captain the squad.

Joining their fellow NSWIS athletes on the tour, which will see the team play two tournaments overseas, are Nathan Power, Mitch Emery, Tyler Martin and Jarrod Gilchrist.

The team kicks off their campaign with the FINA World League Intercontintal Cup from 27 June – 1 May in Shanghai, China, before heading to Dubai, UAE for the FINA World League Finals from 17-22 June.
