Qin claims silver in Canada

NSWIS diver Esther Qin has continued her excellent international form by picking up a silver medal at the latest installment of the FINA Grand Prix.

Fresh off a 3m synchro silver medal at last week’s Grand Prix in Mexico, Qin added individual silver in the 3m synchro overnight in Canada. The Commonwealth champion performed a near-perfect dive with her penultimate jump in the competition to finish on 339.60 points, nine points ahead of third place.

Qin will team up with compatriot Samantha Mills in an effort to better their synchro silver from last week as the Canadian leg of the Grand Prix wraps up.
