NSWIS quartet Moscow bound

Four NSWIS athletes have been selected on the Australian team competing at the 2013 IAAF Athletics World Championships in Moscow later this year.

Olympian Steven Solomon headlines the selections, with the rising star set to take part in the men’s 400m on the back of a fantastic London Olympic campaign in which he finished eighth.

Solomon will be joined by youngster Brandon Starc, who will compete in the men’s high jump, with Tim Leathart being selected as a member of the men’s 4x100m relay team.

NSWIS athlete Dani Samuels is scheduled to have her selection confirmed once she returns to full fitness.
