Kookaburras make clean sweep in Hobart

The Australian men’s hockey team has finished the Hobart International Challenge undefeated following a 5-0 victory in their final match over Pakistan.

Featuring a number of new faces, including NSWIS athlete Blake Govers, the Kookaburras opened the tournament with a 6-0 defeat of Pakistan before going on to record further victories over Korea and New Zealand.

The challenge tournament also saw NSWIS athletes Matthew Dawson, Simon Orchard, Flynn Ogilvie, Tristan White, Matthew Willis and Jack Hayes stake their claims for a spot on the national team at the FIH World League Semi Final in late June.
