Hawaii beckons for rising swim stars

Two NSWIS athletes a host of emerging talent have secured spots on the Australian swim team heading to the Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Hawaii.

Youngsters Jake Baggaley and Monique Rae will both compete at the championships having previously been part of the Australian team that topped the medal tally at the 2013 Junior Swimming World Championships in Dubai.

Baggaley and Rae will be joined by several athletes from the Emerging Talent Squad, including Joachim Bardrum, Vincent Dai, Lachlan Hansen, Jacob Hansford, Meg Bailey, Abbey Harkin, Lucy McJannett and Sophie Taylor.

The 2014 Junior Pan Pacific Championships take place in Hawaii, USA from 28 August – 1 September 2014.
