Dive on into the NSWIS Diving PURSU32+ Talent Program

The NSW Institute of Sport is looking for the next generation of divers in an upcoming free testing day.

Girls and boys aged 8-12 are encouraged to attend the event at Sydney Olympic Park on Sunday 4 June.

REGISTER

A background in trampolining, sports aerobics, gymnastics or similar are preferred but not essential, and no diving experience is necessary.

NSWIS requires dedicated, hard-working athletes with a commitment to be involved in the NSWIS talent pathway and a desire to compete for Australia.

Those identified may be offered an opportunity to train in an NSWIS Talent Squad working with Australian Olympians Melissa Wu, Brittany O’Brien, Nikita Hains and Sam Fricker.

Very limited street parking available – 2 hours only

TIME: From 1-2pm – Testing session will be roughly 90 minutes including registration

You will be provided with a specific time allocation once we have received all

registrations.

WHAT TO WEAR:

Comfortable sportswear (shorts, singlet, t-shirt)

No Sneakers required – gym floor is barefoot only

This is a dry diving test therefore you will not require swimwear

WHAT TO BRING:

Water bottle

Any medication you require, ie. Asthma puffer, strapping tape
