Balogh aiming for gold

NSWIS athlete Suzanne Balogh will compete at the 2012 Olympic Games following the announcement of the shooting team heading to London.

Balogh will compete in the women’s trap at the Games, an event in which she won gold at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. She secured her selection on the Olympic team following strong results at the national championships and world cup.

Joining Balogh on the team are fellow NSWIS athletes Clive Barton, who represented Australia at the 2000 Olympic Games, Beijing bronze medallist Warren Potent and Daniel Repacholi, who competed in Athens and Beijing.

The 2012 London Olympic Games kick off on July 27 2012.
