Another medal for Matsuo

NSWIS swimmer Ami Matsuo has won her second medal at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games with another strong performance in the pool.

Backing up from her bronze medal win in the mixed 4x100m freestyle relay, Matsuo teamed with compatriots Brianna Throssell, Ella Bond and Amy Forrester to take bronze in the women’s 4x100m medley relay.

The Australians clocked a time of 4:06.36 to place third behind China and Great Britain.

Matsuo also has a chance at individual glory during her campaign after qualifying for the final of the women’s 100m freestyle.
